THE GOODMANWave Theory

Working with Archer directly

Trading Goodman — the mentoring course

The books are the method. This is the part where somebody who traded beside Charlie Goodman for eleven years looks at your charts and tells you what you are actually doing.

What you are actually buying

Most trading education teaches you what to look for. It cannot tell you why you, specifically, keep entering two bars early, or why you take the Under count every single time and have never once held to the Over. That needs somebody watching you work.

So this is ten sessions of ninety minutes, one at a time, built around your charts and your account. Then a live five-hour day trading together in real time — not a recording, not a webinar. Then ninety days of follow-up, because insight is cheap and repetition is what turns it into behavior.

There is no cohort, no curriculum you must keep pace with, and no upsell at the end. When it is finished, you have the method and you do not need us.

Included

Ten sessions and a trading day

  • 10 × 90-minute private sessions
  • A live 5-hour Trade-With-Me day
  • 90 days of follow-up afterwards

What we actually work on

Three places it goes wrong

The structure is rarely the problem. The same three moments are, over and over, and they are invisible until somebody watches you make them.

Live setup, or a Goldilocks?

50% zone 3 the propagated ‘1’ the ‘2’ — 72%

The propagated ‘2’ is itself a clear 1-2-3, and its ending point has retraced 72% of the propagated ‘1’ without breaking that swing’s beginning point. Is this setup live, and is it a Goldilocks?

Show the answer

Both. A setup is live once the propagated ‘2’ is at least 25% of the propagated ‘1’. A Goldilocks asks for two more things: the ‘2’ must itself be a clear and distinct 1-2-3, and its ending point must retrace more than 50% of the ‘1’ — basically landing in zone 3. Both hold here. The study behind the rule found the PTS most reliable exactly when the propagated 2-swing landed in zone 3.

What the sessions cover

The written material is the same course that appears in Part Two of the CODEX. The sessions are where it gets applied to your screen.

  • Lesson 1–3 · Goodman Wave Theory — principles, concepts, and the big three
  • Lesson 4 · The Propagation Trade Setup: stages, steps and parameters
  • Lesson 5 · The PTS looking inward — the P-O templates
  • Lesson 6 · The 3-C Principle — landscape and carryover count
  • Lesson 7 · The Goodman Method of trading — outward analysis
  • The rest · Your charts, your time frames, your recurring mistakes

The loop, and where yours breaks

The Goodman method of trading is a loop, not a line. You find the Jumbo, wait for the structure, take the swing, write it in the Ledger, and then read the Ledger to find out what you actually did rather than what you meant to do. That last step is the one almost everyone skips.

Nearly every trader who comes to us has the loop broken in exactly one place, and can name every place except that one. One person enters two bars early, every time. Another counts the structure perfectly and then closes at the Under because holding is uncomfortable. A third finds beautiful setups on a chart where the Jumbo was never there.

Ten sessions is enough time to find your break and hold you to the correction until it stops being a correction and becomes how you trade.

Questions people ask first

Do I need to have read the books?

No, but it helps, and it makes the sessions worth more. If you have read nothing, start with Goodman for Grasshoppers at $97 — an hour with that book changes what you can ask in session one.

How is this different from a course or a video?

A course cannot see your screen. The whole value here is that somebody watches how you actually read a chart and corrects it in the moment. That is also why it costs what it costs and why there are not many places.

Will this make me profitable?

Nobody can promise you that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. What this gives you is a method, applied to your own trading, with someone experienced correcting you while you learn it.

What happens after I apply?

We read the application and reply. If it is not a fit — wrong stage, wrong expectations, wrong market — we will say so rather than take the money, and point you at the book that actually helps.

Is there a payment plan?

Write to us and we will tell you what is possible. Everything here is arranged directly rather than through a checkout, so there is room to discuss it.

Or a single consultation

Not everybody needs ten sessions. If you have read the method and one specific thing is not working — you find the Jumbo but miss the entry, or you cannot tell a Molokai from a bust — one session may be all it takes.

Purchasers of the Playbook already have a sixty-minute consultation included. Use that first.

Consultation

One session, your charts

Triage rather than teaching: one hour on your charts, your positions and your process, turned into specific next actions. Three sessions run $1,000 each; a six-month engagement is one session a month.

The list

One letter, when there is something to say

Charlie wrote to his students. We do the same: a new plate, a chart worth looking at, a note when a book is finished. No schedule, no sequence, no selling to you every Tuesday. Leave when you like.

We keep the list ourselves. It is never sold, rented or shared.
